UE5 | Ninety Days | Fallen Creature

This is one of the Environments created for Quixel's 'Ninety Days' project, during which each individual artist in our team was tasked with completing as many different environments as possible, all in a timespan of 90 days.

'Fallen Creature' took quite a few twists and turns in regards to style, composition and even subject matter. I ended up doing some neat on-the-fly experiments using heightfield generation converted to nanite meshes and some classic splat-map shader work to pull off the large-scale base for this scene.

Everything for 'Ninety Days' was created using the Epic Games and Quixel Ecosystem, meaning we used Megascans, Metahuman, Sketchfab and the Epic Marketplace.
