I had the amazing opportunity to help work on the UE5 Early Access Demo "Valley of the Ancient" alongside the amazing team and my favorite colleagues here at Quixel and Epic.
I was tasked with exploring and testing early workflow drafts and different methods to tackle the scale at which we were operating at. From there, things shifted to setdressing large portions of the mid- and background areas in general along with collaborating on shader development for our standard 3D master material.
This has been beyond humbling, the sheer talend of the people working on this has been awe-inspiring and I had an absolute blast contributing to this demo. The process of realizing this sheer amount of detail with a relatively small team was truly inspirational.
